In Forza Horizon 6, the Single-Player Convoy system lets you gather AI drivers, called Drivatars, to explore Japan together. It’s a fun way to cruise the open world while boosting your Skill Chains, hunting treasure, and taking amazing photos. Here’s everything you need to know to manage your convoy like a pro.

1. How to Form a Convoy

While driving solo, you can recruit any AI driver you see on the roads:

Recruit: Approach a car with a Drivatar name tag and press the Horn button.

Confirmation: The AI will honk back, and their icon on your mini-map turns orange, showing they’re now following you.

Convoy Limit: You can have up to 11 AI drivers, making a total of 12 cars in your convoy—the largest in FH6.

2. Convoy Commands & Interaction

Once your convoy is formed, use the ANNA system (Directional Pad) to manage them:

Follow Me: AI will stick close and mimic your exact path, even taking off-road shortcuts.

Lead the Way: AI will guide the group to a waypoint if you’ve set a GPS destination.

Formation Changes: FH6 adds formation control. Use single file for narrow mountain passes or staggered for highways and open roads.

Photo Mode: Pose your entire convoy for cinematic shots. Capture the beauty of Tokyo streets, Mt. Fuji, or coastal highways with all your AI friends in frame.

3. Benefits of Single-Player Convoys

Convoys aren’t just for looks—they help you play smarter:

Skill Point Boost: Driving close together ramps up Near Miss and Drafting scores, helping you build Skill Chains faster.

Street Races: Challenge any convoy member to a quick Head-to-Head race for Credits and XP.

Treasure Hunting: Certain Rumor missions and hidden Barn Finds require a convoy to trigger events.

4. Disbanding the Convoy

You can end your convoy manually or automatically:

Manual: Open the ANNA menu and select Disband Convoy.

Automatic: The convoy dissolves if you enter a race, start a Horizon Story mission, or switch to Horizon Life online.
