How to Get Rare Cars Like the Nissan Safari Turbo in Forza Horizon 6
How to Unlock the Nissan Safari Turbo
The Safari Turbo is part of the game's new Treasure Cars mechanic. There are nine of these unique vehicles scattered across Japan. Finding them feels like a mix of a Barn Find and a puzzle. Follow these steps to grab it right now: Trigger the Clue: Start by driving around the eastern side of the map. Keep an eye out until your radio companion, Mei, chiming in about a rumor regarding an abandoned vehicle. Once she does, a photograph clue will pop up in your "Treasure Cars" menu. Head to the Ito Region: Open your map and travel to the far northeast corner of the Ito Region. Locate the Wind Farm: Look for a winding dirt road up in the hills—this specific stretch serves as a northern Drift Zone. Search the Base of the Turbines: Cut off the main road and drive right up the grassy hills toward the giant white wind turbines on the skyline. The Nissan Safari Turbo is parked right at the base of the highest wind turbine, tucked next to some roadside railings. Claim It Instantly: Just roll up to the truck and hit the prompt button (X). The best part? Unlike traditional Barn Finds, you don't have to wait for a mechanic to restore it. It goes straight into your garage, ready to drive. Other Ways to Score Rare Cars in FH6 If you’re trying to build a truly legendary collection, you’ll need to master a few different endgame systems. The rarest cars in the game are locked behind three main progression grinds. 1. Car Mastery Skill Trees (The Secret Menu) Some of the coolest cars in the game are hidden inside the skill menus of completely standard vehicles. To get them, you buy the "base" car from the Auto Show, go out and bank a ton of skill points by drifting and doing stunts, and then unlock the perks in the mastery tree until you hit the reward car. 1967 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray 427: Unlocked via the 2020 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray Coupe tree. 1974 Honda Civic RS: Unlocked via the 2023 Honda Civic Type R tree. 2003 Porsche Carrera GT: Unlocked via the 2014 Porsche 918 Spyder tree. 1995 Ferrari F50: Unlocked via the 1996 Ferrari F50 GT tree. 2. Milestone Progression Grinds These are the ultra-rare rewards meant for the completionists. If you see someone driving one of these online, you know they’ve put serious hours into the game. Mazda 787B: You need to earn a Gold Stamp in the "Discover Japan" campaign track, which will finally trigger its legendary Barn Find. Toyota AE86 Forza Edition: Locked behind the map exploration track. You have to accumulate 5,000 Master Explorer points, which usually takes around 30+ hours of scouring the world. BMW M24s Edition: This one requires 5,000 Horizon Legend points. To pull this off, you essentially have to 3-star every single event and stunt available on the map. 3. Wheelspin-Only Exclusives Finally, there’s a tier of cars completely left to chance (or deep pockets). Vehicles like the Nissan GTR Forza Edition, Ford F450 Forza Edition, and the highly sought-after Nissan 240SX cannot be earned through standard races or campaigns. Your only options here are to cross your fingers during random Wheelspin drops, or save up a massive stack of credits and go hunting on the player-run Auction House. |
